This collaborative installation brings together light and media artist Gábor Karcis and floral artist Liliane Spielmann, connected by a shared interest in organic forms, sensory spaces, and site-specific transformation.
Liliane’s work explores the emotional power of botanical shapes through sculptural floral arrangements. In this piece, alien-like plant clusters emerge in the industrial space, glowing and communicating via synchronized LEDs, lasers, and ambient sound - suggesting a sentient ecosystem.
Karcis uses light as a structural and atmospheric tool, blending projection mapping, reflective surfaces, and algorithm-driven visuals. Together, they create a surreal, immersive environment where nature and technology merge.
This installation transforms industrial architecture into something organic and seemingly alive. Painted plant forms spread across concrete surfaces, blending synthetic growth with utilitarian structure. A light and sound system connects these clusters, where pulses of light leave temporary glowing traces - a kind of photonic memory. The reactive pigment records brief visual echoes, blurring the line between natural process and technological simulation. Light here becomes presence, action, and disappearance - inviting us to imagine sentient architecture.
